We Stock Fandeli, Starcke, Hermes and various other coated abrasives in the manufacturing of our abrasive products. We do this to provide the high quality demanded by the metal, wood, marine, automotive, Aerospace and industrial marketplaces:

Sanding Belts

Sanding belts are one of the most common items used in sanding products and are an improvement on old-fashioned hand sanding, using traditional sheets of sandpaper.

Sanding belts come in a variety of sizes; sometimes determined by industry or machine manufacturer. At Rapid Abrasives we can provide almost any size that is used today since we can manufacture sanding belts ranging from widths ¼” to any length.

Sanding belts have two dimensions: Width by Length; that simple. Outside of those dimensions, we require the grit and type of grain you prefer.

Typical industries using sanding belts include woodworking, metal fabrication, automotive and aerospace manufacturing.

Rolls

Rolls

Sanding rolls are available in endless widths and used in a variety of applications. Some customers like the ability to tear off a piece at whatever length needed for hand sanding while others may use rolls in Drum Sanding applications. Rolls offered are in widths from ½” to 54” and lengths of 10 yards to 100 yards based on your requirements.

Sheets

Sanding sheets come in a variety of sizes and backings. We offer sheets in custom sizes or the most common 9×11 size. Sheets used are for hand sanding but also when Sticky backed (PSA) or Velour backings are applied can be used in small hand held machines for detail sanding with Air or Electric sanders. At Rapid Abrasives, we can also make custom sizes to match your needs.

Discs

Sanding discs have become one of the most common abrasive product used today in both DIY markets as well as the manufacturing industry. Small mold making industry using 2” and 3” diameters to large Pattern Industries using 20” to 30” diameters. Sanding discs are most common today in 5” and 6” diameter and supplied with both Sticky backed (PSA) and Velour backed for ease of removal and reattaching when switching grits.
