Our 10″ Purple Airway Buffing Wheels are designed as a cut & finish buff, offering a balanced combination of cutting ability and finishing control. Positioned between pink cut buffs and green medium finish buffs, this wheel is ideal for applications where material removal and surface refinement are both required. Constructed from cotton mounted to a 3″ steel center ring, the airway design creates pleats in the buffing surface, allowing the wheel to run cooler and deliver a non-directional cutting action compared to stitched or sewn buffs.

The pleated airway construction helps prevent the linear lines often left by stitched buffs, producing a smoother, more uniform surface. Made from mill-treated purple cotton, this wheel provides controlled cutting while beginning the finishing process in a single step.
