The 5″ Trimmable Zirconia Flap Disc – Type 29 is designed for aggressive grinding and extended disc life in demanding metalworking applications. Constructed with premium zirconia grain abrasive flaps and a trimmable plastic backing, this disc allows the backing to be trimmed as the flaps wear, enabling full use of the abrasive surface and maximizing disc life.

The Type 29 angled flap design provides a higher angle of attack for fast material removal, making this disc ideal for edge grinding, weld blending, and heavy stock removal. Zirconia alumina grain is extremely tough and self-sharpening, performing exceptionally well under heat and pressure while maintaining consistent cutting action throughout the life of the disc.
